Kinnaur and Tirthan Valley:

A tour of a week in the beautiful trans of Himaliyan Region called Kinnaur, which is famous for its unique Himalayan culture, traditional houses and old temples. Although with singing of high mountains throughout the route, with fresh juice apples and the well-known Kinner Kailash mountains. 

The tour begins with a sojourn at Shimla, which was the capital of India during the British Empire, and it is still the main point for tourists. We drive on the Hindustan-Tibet road along the way to Kinnaur valley, where you experience high mountains, the rich culture of Kinnauri and marvellous views. We will also experience the famous Tirthan Valley, which is also called the co-destination, located on the banks of the river called Tirthan and the national Hilmaiyan Park. Trithan provides unbelievable views and infinite opportunities to explore the villages, forest and attractive Trout fishing.

DETAILED PROGRAMME

Day 1: Chandigarh – Shimla (120 kms/ 4 hrs)

Start arrival at Chandigarh station/airport and start gurney by surface to Shimla. On arrival, we will check into the hotel. After that, we will explore The Mall Road, Scandal Point, The Ridge and The Christ Church. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Shimla – Sangla (230 kms/ 8 hrs)

Starting journey from Shimla to Sangla, travelling throughout on Hindustan Tibet Road passing by Kufri, Narkanda, Rampur and visiting the Bhimakali temple at Sarahan. On arrival, we will check in and stay overnight at the hotel/ camp mentioned in the trip.

Day 3: In Sangla

Starting the 3rd day with breakfast, then we will visit the picturesque village of Chitkul and Rakchham and then come back to Sangla. We will take the rest of the day free to relax or take a walk in the nearby Batseri village. Overnight at the hotel/ camp mentioned in the trip.

Day 4: Sangla – Kalpa (51 kms/ 2 hrs)

Starting our 4th day with breakfast, we leave for Recong Peo, which is the district headquarters of Kinnaur district. Walk around the market where you can do some shopping for the famous Kinnauri shawls and caps. Moreover, we will climb up to Kalpa, which is an old, beautiful village set against the backside of the Holly Kinner Kailash mountain range. After a leisurely day, we will arrive at the hotel Afternoon, visit Rogi village and the famous suicide point. Night at the hotel mentioned in the trip.

Day 5: Kalpa – Tirthan (204 kms/ 7 hrs)

Starting the 5th day with breakfast at Kalpa, drive to Tirthan valley, moving back on Hindustan Tibet Road till Rampur, where we pass by the Satluj valley to enter the outer Seraj region. We climb up to Jalori Pass, approximately 3230 m, which is the main entrance into the Tirthan Valley and onwards to the Kullu Valley from the Satluj Valley. We will drive downward to Valley Flower and follow the Tirthan River to arrive at our fifth night hotel, which is located on the banks of the river. Night at the hotel mentioned in the trip.

Day 6: In Tirthan Valley

Starting our day 6 with breakfast, and today we may move on to an excursion to Sarchi village, which is located 15 km from our hotel ShivAdya, located at the top of the mountains with blowing winds up the mountain. Explore the village, walk around the streets, and spend some time with the Trithan locals. Came back to ShivAdya for some relaxation in the afternoon.  If you don’t want to relax, then you may enjoy Trout fishing. Night at the hotel mentioned in the trip.

Day 7: Tirthan – Chandigarh (265 kms/ 7 – 8 hrs)

Last Morning breakfast, we will head to Chandigarh airport/ station to travel onwards to your home with lots of unforgettable memories and new friends from the trip to Kinnaur and Tirthan valley.

Policies

Trip Package Includes:

  • Your transportation will be arranged in a specified vehicle following the itinerary, with only the driver’s assistance. 
  • Your accommodation will be the same as mentioned in the provided list (Hotels/Camp).
  • MAP and meal plan from the start of our first day (Your Rest Room + Breakfast + Dinner Only);  all are equal to the nights mentioned in the Package.

Trip Package Excludes:

  • All GST
  • Any Air/Train charges
  • Inner Line Permissions
  • Any entrances and tour guides in the program.
  • Any demanding meal other than those included in the package.
  • Your personal expenses such as tips, Phone calls, laundry, liquor, etc.
  • Any other thing which is not mentioned in the tour package.

Some other things you must know:

  • A maximum of 4 people are allowed to sit in a single car, or a ratio of 3 adults and 1 child will be accommodated.
  • While in Innova, under certain conditions, no more than 6 people will be allowed to sit, including children.
  • In case of tempo with 11+1 seater. As there are multiple places where tempo is not allowed or banned due to narrow roads, in such conditions, the group will have to walk till the nearest Sightseeing area mentioned in the trip. Then walk back to the tempo.

Important Notice:

  • As we mentioned above, the GST is not included and would be charged 5% extra to the total cost of your selected tour at the time before departure.
  • Please calculate your own markup on your own (All package rates are net/non-commissionable).
  • To get all the services you need, you pay all payments at the time of booking confirmation. 
  • Vehicles are only available for sightseeing as mentioned on your booked trip, and mentioned programme and itinerary.
  • All rooms are standard and are mentioned in each package.
  • In any case, if we are not able to provide you with the hotel mentioned in the trip, we are responsible for providing you with a hotel with a more efficient place. Changes in the cost will be provided if any.
  • Our rates are built on the provided hotel. That doesn’t mean we have booked such kind of hotels, we do mostly on time, mostly on the confirmation or departure of all members. If the mentioned hotels are not available, then rates may vary with the hotel we book for you, and you have to pay extra for it.
  • If you want to cancel your trip, make sure to read our terms and conditions.

Payments and Reservation Terms

You can make your reservation by advising us about your acceptance of the tour and travel dates, along with the complete payment for the trip you selected in advance. So we make sure you appear on time without any delays. All our services will be available on a confirmed basis with fully advanced received payments.  

As Hotels in Kinnaur/ Spiti will not get confirmed without advance payments, which are subject to cancellation of policy.

Cancellation and Operational Policy

After confirming and paying all amounts, if you want to cancel your trip, then a minimum of 25% of the total tour cost charged as cancellation charges. 50% charges are applied between 30 days and 15 days; there will be no refunds. If any part mentioned in the package cannot be availed, then there is no return of money for such activity. If you want to extend your trip to any other date or if extra service is required, the extra service charges are required to be paid, as per the trip and tour expenses at that time.
